We stand behind the result
Fully insured, high-quality results, and over 20 years of doing it this way — that's the reputation the work has earned.
The prep work you never see is the part that matters most
A floor that fails almost never fails because of the material — it fails because of what happened (or didn't happen) underneath it. Subfloor leveling, moisture testing, and letting flooring acclimate to your home's humidity before installation are unglamorous steps that don't show up in a quick estimate. Skip them, and a beautiful floor can cup, gap, or delaminate within a year.
We build that prep into every job, residential or commercial, because it's the difference between a floor you replace again in three years and one that lasts. Over 20 years of experience means we've seen what happens when it's skipped — and we don't skip it.

A look at hardwood, marble, laminate and vinyl we've installed for homes and businesses in the Murfreesboro area.
Rated 4.6 stars by Murfreesboro homeowners & businesses
We hired Murfreesboro Flooring to install new hardwood floors throughout our home and the results were fantastic. The team was knowledgeable, efficient, and paid great attention to detail — every plank was laid perfectly. The entire process was smooth and stress-free from start to finish.
Murfreesboro Flooring handled our commercial flooring from start to finish. They managed everything — planning, materials, and installation — and the results were outstanding. Our showroom has never looked better.
New laminate in the living room and hallway went in without any fuss. They handled everything from checking the subfloor to cleanup, so the whole thing felt like a smooth, professional installation.
Our house was built in the 90s and the original hardwoods were dull and scratched. We chose refinishing instead of replacement and it made a huge difference — the sanding evened everything out and the new finish brought back the natural color.
I had my kitchen floor redone from ceramic tile to a laminate composite wood floor. It came out awesome. Everyone was very knowledgeable and the crew were hard workers, very thorough, and cleaned up well. I definitely recommend them.
We visited several flooring companies but felt this one was the most professional and knowledgeable, and had the quality flooring for us. Plus, they are a family-owned local business. The installation team was absolutely fantastic.
After years of carpet, I decided to change my floors to wood. Being on a budget, I found Murfreesboro Flooring and had them install a hardwood look without going broke. The floors look amazing and my rooms look so much bigger. The install went smooth and the crew was professional, prompt and did not leave a mess.
I have dealt with Murfreesboro Flooring multiple times over many years — laminate in our basement two years ago and recently bamboo hardwood in the living room and hallway. Always very positive, efficient and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Wanted something durable but stylish for the guest room. The vinyl plank flooring they recommended checked all the boxes. Install was clean and quick. Really pleased with how it turned out.

Questions people ask before they call
How do I know my new floor will be installed correctly?
Every job starts with proper subfloor prep — leveling, moisture testing where needed, and letting the material acclimate before it goes down. We leave the correct expansion gap and never float a floor over old, failing flooring just to save a step. That prep work is invisible once the floor is down, but it is the difference between a floor that lasts and one that fails within a year.
Can you install new flooring over my old flooring?
Sometimes, but not always — it depends on the condition of what's underneath. If the existing floor is failing, delaminating, or uneven, installing over it just locks in the problem. We check the subfloor first and tell you honestly whether it needs to come out.
What flooring services do you offer?
Hardwood and engineered wood installation, wood floor refinishing and repair, laminate flooring, luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and waterproof vinyl, marble and natural stone flooring, and commercial flooring for retail, restaurants, offices, healthcare and warehouses. We also handle subfloor building, leveling, and moisture testing.
Do you work on commercial properties, not just homes?
Yes. We install and maintain flooring for retail and grocery spaces, restaurants and cafés, offices, commercial kitchens, healthcare facilities, and warehouses — durable materials chosen for high traffic and minimal downtime.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and serve Middle Tennessee, including Nashville, Smyrna, La Vergne, Brentwood, Mt. Juliet, Franklin, Spring Hill and Shelbyville.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. Call us or send the short form and we'll call you back within a day to talk through your project and give you a free quote — no pressure, no obligation.
Can you refinish my existing hardwood instead of replacing it?
Often, yes — and it usually costs far less than a full replacement. If the wear is in the finish rather than the wood itself, sanding and refinishing can bring the floor back and even change its color. We'll look at the boards first and tell you honestly whether refinishing is the right call or whether the wood is too far gone.
How long does a flooring installation take?
It depends on the size of the space, the material, and how much subfloor prep is needed. A single room can often be done in a day or two, while a whole-home or commercial job runs longer — especially if we're leveling the subfloor or letting material acclimate first. We give you a realistic timeline with your quote so there are no surprises.
Do you move furniture and remove the old flooring?
We handle the flooring work end to end — removing and disposing of old flooring, prepping the subfloor, and installing the new floor. Furniture moving can be included; just tell us what's in the space when we talk so we can plan for it in your quote.
How much does new flooring cost?
It varies with the material, the square footage, and the condition of the subfloor underneath — so an honest number comes after we understand your project, not before. What we won't do is quote a price sight-unseen and then change it later. Send the short form or call and we'll give you a free, straight quote for your actual space.
